Allyn Warner Gamble

Allyn Warner Gamble’s many performance credits span 35 years and include featured singer with the Los Angeles Civic Light Opera and principle singer in Las Vegas, Nevada where she starred in Hallelujah Hollywood at the MGM Grand, Lido de Paris at the Stardust Hotel, Casino de Paris at the Dunes Hotel, 2 editions of Follies Bergere at the Tropicana Hotel, and City Lights at the Flamingo Hilton.

She appeared as opening act for Johnny Carson and George Carlin at the Sahara Hotel. She was the featured singer in many exclusive clubs in San Francisco, Lake Tahoe, Atlantic City, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas.

In 1997 and 1998 she starred at the world famous Friedrichstaad Palace in Berlin, Germany, whose stage was once home to such greats as Marlene Dietrich, Duke Ellington, and Ella Fitzgerald.

Her many years of musical theater experience include performances in Los Angeles, San Francisco and Sacramento, CA. Brunswick and Portland, ME and Newburyport, MA. Allyn was Miss Maine 1971, Preliminary Talent Winner and Fourth Runner up to Miss America 1972. She toured with the Miss America USO Troupe to Vietnam and Thailand. She served as Vice President on the Miss Maine Pageant Board of Directors and was personal vocal coach for Miss Maine 2007, Allyn has taught privately in Las Vegas and Maine. She now teaches vocal technique and performance at The Musical Suite in Newburyport, and at The Governor’s Academy in Byfield.
