The Collaboration 6 Show  –  Calling All Actors  –  OPEN AUDITIONS

We are casting 12 short plays and seek actors of all ages.

WHERE:  The Actors Studio of Newburyport
WHEN:  Sunday, February 9, 2020 from 10am to 2pm.

PERFORMANCE DATES:  April 3-5, 2020. Each of the 12 plays will be performed twice.

No need to book a time. No need to prepare anything. Our directors will ask you to cold-read from some of the plays we are casting.

Background:

The Collaboration Show is the product of The Weekend Writer’s Workshop which meets tri-weekly at The Actors Studio of Newburyport. Now in our eighth year, Workshop playwrights have been produced at more than 100 Play Festivals around the country, including venues such as: The Huntington Theater, The Boston Center for the Arts, The Firehouse Center for the Arts, The Players Theater-NYC, and the list goes on. This year we are trying something new. We are producing 3 groups of 4 plays (12 total).  This year’s show is our most ambitious to date and each evening’s performance will be unique. We are separating our 12 plays into 3 groups of 4.  Friday night, Group 1 will perform with Group 2. Saturday night, Group 2 will perform with Group 3. And for Sunday’s show, Group 3 will perform with Group 1.  Each play is produced twice.
