The Actors Studio of Newburyport presents
Daughters of the Appalachian, Six Unique Women
by storyteller Linda Goodman
Adapted for the stage by Marc Clopton and Arlene Barnard.
In celebration of Women’s HerStory Month
Ms. Goodman’s stories offer an intimate glimpse inside the customs and attitudes of this distinctive part of the country. In this production her characters’ stories are richly enhanced by live original music by Grammy nominated composer E.J Ouellette and choreography by Muriel Baillie.
The show is directed by Marc Clopton and Arlene Barnard and features Stephanie Charlton as Boojie, Kate Gilbert as Jessie, Cathy Hersh as Sara Jane, Mary-Liz Murray as Harlene, Heidi Sanger as Nellveda, and Donna Story as Martha.
