The next Full Moon Story Slam is our chance to gather as friends – virtually, of course – and share true stories from our lives. Simply put, a story slam is a competition based on the art of storytelling. It puts a dual emphasis on content and performance, encouraging storytellers to focus on what they’re saying and how they’re saying it. It is an exercise in crafting stories within a set time limit – and it is great entertainment! Story slammers will tell a 5-minute short story based on the evening’s theme: “Mayhem.”

At 5:00 P.M. we will draw our 8 storytellers from a hat. **We ask that you be available for a 30-minute tech session at 7:00 P.M. that evening (the 24th). **
The competition will be on Saturday, September 26, at 7:00 P.M.
Don’t be nervous, we will send easy instructions and host a run through beforehand.

Once signed up, you will be sent the Zoom link.
Please remember, the story must be true. The story must be yours. And you may not use props, notes or a written script.
