John Sheedy Art Sale Fundraiser 2022
July 10 @ 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm
Art Collectors take Note!
John Sheedy is doing it again!
Once again, John Sheedy is making available, selected pieces of his works, as a fundraiser for local non-profit theater groups: The Actors Studio of Newburyport, Terezin, Children of the Holocaust and Theater in The Open.
The event will kick off Sunday, July 10, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., and will continue Sunday afternoons, through the summer. Come by; enjoy a sip and a snack, meet representatives from the theater companies and view John’s art.
Three donation boxes will be available – one for each organization. Find the artwork you love. Make a donation to one of the theater groups. Then take the artwork home. How cool is that?
John’s paintings offer classic seasonal scenes of Newburyport and environs along the Merrimack River. The interplay of dappled color and reflected light marks his painterly hand.
He was one of the founding members of the Newburyport Arts Council and served as an art instructor for the Georgetown schools.
John’s work can normally be viewed by appointment at his Barn Gallery, in Newbury, but, Sunday July 10, you can drop by any time between 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m., to choose the artwork you want for your home or office.
Can’t make it on the 10th? No worries. The Gallery is open every Sunday, starting at noon, and the fundraiser will last all summer. Come by at your convenience, to purchase some beautiful art and support our theater community.
