Will Buck love the one he’s with or the one he loves?

Third time’s the charm. Buck always thought he would marry young and have a pile of kids. That didn’t happen and now he’s 34. We experience Buck’s romantic life through three different decision points with three different consequences. Which really happens? Director- Kathy Weinstock.

Bio

Andrea Lepcio is a Maine-based playwright who writes fast and often. She is best known for Looking for the Pony, a finalist for the Dramatists Guild Hull-Warriner Award and for the NEA Outstanding New American Play Award. Most recently, she was an Artist in Residence at Acadia National Park. Her climate change play, World Avoided, was commissioned by Sloan/EST and presented in a reading by EST as part of the First Lights Festival in 2017 and 2019. She has been produced regionally, in New York City, and internationally; three new plays have been produced since 2015. She is a member of the Dramatists Guild, was a Dramatists Guild Fellow, served as the Fellows Program Director for ten years, and is a Dramatists Guild Institute teacher. She is adjunct at College of the Atlantic. Andrea is also a personal trainer and yoga teacher. M.F.A. Dramatic Writing, Carnegie Mellon University.  B.A. Human Ecology, College of the Atlantic.

The audience is invited to participate in a feedback session to help the playwright develop the play.

North Shore Readers Theater Collaborative—Established in 2006, sponsors ten events a year at TASN. On the second Saturday of every month from September to June new plays from local and regional playwrights are presented in a Readers Theatre format before an audience, followed by a moderated talkback. This provides playwrights an essential step in play development and local actors and directors the opportunity to work in the Readers Theatre format. A number of plays in the series have won awards and have been produced locally and internationally.
