Marc’s Cold Reading Classes are back! That’s right, St. Paul’s Church in Newburyport was kind enough to give us space for indoor classes on Wednesday evening and Friday morning. Just like before, all you need is your willingness to do a cold reading from one of the scenes Marc has chosen – and have a good time. OK, you’ll also need to have proof of being fully vaccinated for COVID19 and a mask, if St. Paul’s pandemic protocol requires one.

“We are so grateful to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church for accommodating elements of our programming and class offerings,” says Marc. “This has enabled The Actors Studio to begin providing live, in-person, theater and theatrical events. COVID isn’t over and we need to remain vigilant, but we are clearly moving in the right direction. If you can be at St. Paul’s on Wednesday evening or Friday morning, starting June 2 and 4, I’ll have scenes for you to read!”

CLASS DESCRIPTION
This is a workout class that purposely includes actors at every level of experience, from beginners to pro’s, and also offers invaluable opportunities for non-actors in the way of personal growth and discovery. Using plays and screenplays, students learn ways of reaching full expression and access to their own authenticity, along with simple techniques for breath control, focus and other performance skills.

I keep the environment safe for everyone to explore your own limitlessness.
The cold reading classes are ongoing. Multi-week commitments are preferred.

Classes will be offered on Wednesdays, at 7:00 p.m. and Fridays, at 10:00 a.m.  As before, price per class is $35. Four classes paid in advance is $120 and eight classes paid in advance is $225 (Options provided below to pay in advance via PayPal).
