Student Storytelling Show – via Zoom

June 21, 2021 @ 7:00 pm

Students, from the Intro to Storytelling Classes, have been working with Kurt Mullen on many aspects of the craft of Storytelling.  This class culminates in a performance – Student Storytelling Show. Please join us in enjoying the fruits of their labors.

Kurt Mullen is a storyteller, writer, and teacher. Two of his stories have been featured on PBS’s Stories from the Stage. His long-form story, “You Don’t Know Jack,” recorded live in Burlington, VT, can be heard on the popular RISK! True Stories podcast. He is co-founder and co-host of GRIT: True Stories that Matter, a weekly podcast that features the best storytellers alive today.

As a writer, Kurt started as a beat reporter for a daily newspaper in Virginia. He worked on and contributed to Encarta Africana, an encyclopedia of the African diaspora, edited by Henry Louis Gates, Jr., at Harvard University, and then at Microsoft in Redmond, WA. He has written features and essays for Powder, Paddler, Canoe & Kayak, Berkshire, and many other magazines.

His fiction has been featured by the Liars’ League of NYC, and has appeared in Bull, Flash Fiction Magazine, and 101words.org.
